The pump station was accumulating approximately a one-foot blanket of FOG every week. After using a vacuum truck for a lengthy period of time, the idea of GOVAPEX was introduced as an efficient reducer of FOG and money saver. A successful trial proved to the municipality that a NANO would efficiently destroy their FOG and they decided to purchase two units – one for this site and one for their a pump station down the road where FOG buildup was also an issue.
